Thank you for buying this MINICRAFT product. You are now in possession of a quality precision tool. Please read these Operating Instructions carefully before use.

2. 50 Teeth: Coarse woods and other soft materials up to 5mm. Blade diameter 60mm.

e) Metric scale
f) Cable and plug
g) Parallel guide
h) Bevel guide
j) Saw table

Before use:

1. Pay special attention to paragraphs on changing and assembling saw blades and riving knife.

2. Before use, secure the circular saw table to a work bench or similar surface (Fig. 1).

3. Use a MINICRAFT variable speed transformer or another 12V source of direct current.

4. Measure the workpiece and position the parallel guide accordingly. When the guide is not in use, only small incisions should be made because the workpiece may be swivelled. The motor could then stall or become overloaded.

5. Safety glasses should be worn at all times.

6. Gently ease the workplace towards the saw. The sawing speed can be controlled through the transformer. Plastics should be cut at medium speed.

7. Set the bevel guide to the desired angle. The tool is excellent for sawing small strips and vertical sections at the exact angle required.

8. The tool can now be switched on and is ready for use. After use, the sawdust should be emptied out of the lower guard. To remove guard, push upwards, then pull forwards.

To change the saw blade

Disconnect the tool from the power supply. Remove the lower guard (see 8 above) and clean out It is advisable to fill it with water when working with a diamond blade. Hold the nut behind the saw blade tightly in position with one spanner, while using the other spanner to loosen the nut at the front of the blade. Remove the blade and replace the new blade carefully onto the spindle. Take care that the teeth of the newly inserted blade are facing in the correct direction.

Replace the washer first and then replace the nut, tightening securely. Check that the blade has been correctly positioned, remember teeth cut on the downward stroke.

Assembling the riving knife and guard

1. Remove the lower guard.

2. Turn the saw table upside down and lay it face down on the work bench

3. On the underside of the saw table is a slotted fixture (see Fig. 7).

4. This side of the table should now face you.

5. The arched side of the riving knife should be placed into the slot and pushed home.

6. Insert the screw (M4 x 16mm) with spring washer through right hand hole.

7. The screw should be turned slightly into the corresponding thread and tightened (see Fig. 8).

8. Turn the saw upright, fit the blade, adjust the parallel guide and you are ready to saw.

Safety First
Children should only use the tool under the supervision of an adult. Always wear safety glasses.
